WTA 50th Anniversary Book

WTA 50th Anniversary Book

The 50th Anniversary of the founding of the WTA was celebrated at the Annual Meeting held in Sun Valley, Idaho, February 23-28, 2020. There were many special recognitions held as part of the festivities, including the unveiling of a book celebrating the history and culture of the WTA, The Western Trauma Association at 50: Still About Trauma Care, Friendship, Family, and Snow.

All WTA members and Past Presidents received a copy of the book (if you are a member and didn’t get yours, contact Amy Weber). There are a few remaining copies from the first printing available for purchase for $25 plus shipping. Again, contact Amy if you are interested.

The book is copyrighted, all rights reserved to the WTA, and may not be reproduced without permission.

Thanks to all who participated in the writing and editing of this historic document. We feel it represents not just the history, but also the special aspects of the culture of the WTA which have evolved over the fifty years of Association existence, while still respecting the vision of its Founders.
